Meet Dr. Karishma Patel

Karishma Patel was born and raised in Mumbai, India. When she was 7 years old she moved to Toronto, Canada after which she moved to Maryland where she has been living since. Karishma loves travel, adventure and her favorite family member, her dog Buzz. She completed a Bachelor’s of Science in Neuroscience at George Mason University while at Mason she had the opportunity to work a Dental office as a dental assistant. While working at the dental office she was able to see dentistry from a new perspective, she found a great interest and passion for dentistry. Following that passion, she attended Howard University College of Dentistry to complete her dental education. During dental school Karishma participated in several mission trips to Treasure Beach, Jamaica where she had the opportunity to treat pediatric patients allowing her to discover a passion for pediatric dentistry. Following that passion she completed her residency in Pediatric Dentistry with NYU Langone in Princess Anne, MD.
